The individual(s) are still at it. Attempted to scam me on high value ebay items on 19 February 2024 and 6 March 2024. Both incidents reported to ebay. Called the New Castle, DE PD and they know of the address but told me I have to report the incident to my local PD (Oklahoma) who will then forward the info on to the New Castle, DE PD.

Apparently, they have a means of viewing what is sold by whom on ebay and, if the item meets whatever value criteria they have, they then send the ebay message and/or email in an attempt to get the item diverted to them.

I urge anyone who is contacted in this manner to report the issue to the New Castle PD and your own. As this has been going on for at least 4 years from this address perhaps someone will put a stop to it.

Thanks for posting. I received The exact same message from the scammer with the exact same address that you listed.. I figured it was a scam. and I just ignored the guy.

He just tried to get me also same address ebay account kotriken-43 and then he disabled the account what a loser

Just did the same to me May 26, 2023. This time "brother was in a serious accident with family and he had to leave town. So send to Delaware address, blah blah. " Shame on ebay for not doing enough to prevent this!

This just happened to a seller that I had paid for an item. A scammer posed as me and asked the seller to change the address to:

New Castle, DE 19720

Unfortunately the seller sent my purchased item to this address. Why does eBay allow strangers to access the "Contact Seller" link once an item has been sold. You would think that should only be accessible by the winning bidder. Seems like a very simple fix that eBay chooses to ignore.

Fucker just did it to me too

Just letting you know that he's still around, still doing it to $1000+ items, and just did it to me twice. first as the actual buyer. then as the fake buyer after a real buyer snagged it. if he had just tried to use a different address I wouldn't have realized something was amiss. No matter what I wouldn't change the address, talk about a scam.
