If you ever have your alternator replaced and want your old one back,
be sure to ask about the "core" charge first. You'll get dinged $75 to get it back. They won't tell you this before your service, so ask. You basically pay for a new alternator and labor and they keep your old alternator and scrap it for $, probably a $100 of copper value in it. Not cool and MAJOR SCAM artist alert!
Service center there is a joke doing this, they already upcharge you x4. Too bad they'll be out of business in a couple years
