Illinoian's will be suprised to know they will get a 1099-K from PayPal in 2020 if:
Illinois: $1,000 USD in gross payment volume from sales of goods or services in a single calendar year with at least 3 payment processed
This doesn't apply to most
other US states. So if you had eBay sales totaling over $1000 and accepted the payments in PayPal, you're going to get the 1099-K. I'm sure this will be an unwelcomed surprise to a lot.
