I kept getting alerts and email notifications for new documents available in my Fifth Third account. When I checked for the actual documents online in my account, there weren't any. Looks like it was a bug in the Fifth Third portal. What I did to fix:
1. Logged into my Fifth Third Account -> Alerts -> ManageAlerts button
2. Under Document alerts, removed email notifications for the funny named alerts with document in the name. No clue what these were for.
3. After I did this, the alerts stopped AND the alert item titles disappeared from my Manage Alerts page.
