Apple Watch: Change the name of the watch at the top of the screen?

I noticed at the top of the iPhone Watch app it shows "NAME Watch" instead of the actual watch device name in (General -> About -> Name). It looks like this name comes from your iCloud account name (the first name in your iCloud account). I don't like this and it can't be changed unless you update your iCloud account name. It should really show the name you gave your Apple Watch, right?
