Amazon Delivered Today - Package was left inside the residence's mailbox

I received this
update on
Amazon.com about a computer monitor being "left inside mailbox" but clearly that can't happen because a 32" monitor cannot fit in a mailbox. In addition, the tracking on UPS.com says it isn't delivered yet.
