Make sure to turn off Adblock for the Chegg website, that worked for me.

Clear your cookies, always sign-out of Chegg when done, and dont search Chegg in Google while you are using Google

I saw your question on the phpbb forums and it looks like you managed to get a single forum displayed onto your front page after all. Why are the phpbb mods so stubborn about this? Every time the question was asked the same guy shot it down lol

After resetting my password, I closed out of chegg, cleared browsing history from the past 24 hours, then it worked.

Clear all browsing history including those cookies and all other stuffs, then try again with your login password. At least it worked for me.
